Accounting Manager - Overview

The Accounting Manager leads day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role manages a small team, oversees AP/AR processes, maintains internal controls, and supports cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop accounting staff
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and sales tax reporting
• Support audits and financial reporting
• Analyze financial data and assist with budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including leadership
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred
